High Court quashes council’s holiday homes consent over planner’s ‘error of law’ in design advice

The High Court has overturned a Kent council’s consent for a holiday lodge development, ruling that a planning officer’s advice to members that they should not seek additional details on the scheme’s design because it was simply a change of use was an “error of law”.
