Court backs council’s approval of 265 home on valued landscape because of site shortage

A shortfall in Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council’s supply of available housing land played a decisive part in the High Court’s decision to uphold planning consent for development of an open and much valued plot of land which straddles the boundary between the city and its surrounding countryside.
