Council officers fight purported government plan to end virtual planning meetings on 6 May

Councils’ ability to hold virtual planning committee meetings will end on 6 May unless the government changes course, according to two local authority groups that have begun legal proceedings to force the government not to allow the current temporary arrangements to expire.
