PINS records new monthly high in open appeal case numbers as decisions slump 15%

The number of open appeal cases on the Planning Inspectorate’s (PINS) books has risen to its highest point in the past 12 months, while the number of decisions issued by the body has fallen 15 per cent compared to the previous month.
